 WASHINGTON, D.C. â August 11, 2026 â The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) announced today that on September 30, 2026, Charles Hoskinson, creator of Cardano and Midnight and a Co-Founder of Ethereum keynotes at the National Press Club immediately before the GBA Cryptopoly Gala Reception, one of the conferenceâs signature networking events.
âHoskinson will join senior executives from the United Nations, World Bank, U.S. Department of Treasury, state & local governments along with companies like Binance, Circle, Coinbase and Rippleâ, said Gerard Dache, Founder and Executive Director of the Government Blockchain Association. âHis experience building decentralized infrastructure, combined with the public-policy work of the Hoskinson Government and Policy Center, makes his participation critically relevant as governments and financial institutions confront the convergence of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum technology.â
Hoskinson will also participate in GBAâs Capitol Hill Roundtable on September 29, 2026, with government leaders and industry executives. His participation will bring an important perspective to this yearâs conference theme: âThe Impact of AI, Blockchain, and Quantum on Financial Services.â The program will examine how rapidly advancing technologies are transforming financial institutions, government regulation, and the global economy.
On October 2nd the conference is being held in New York City. The Government Blockchain Association (GBA), in partnership with the Dynamic Coalition on Blockchain Assurance & Standardization of the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF) and the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) will host a one-day FinTech Summit. Charles Hoskinson is the founder and CEO of Input Output Group, a blockchain infrastructure and research engineering company and the organization behind the Cardano blockchain, as well as a co-founder of Ethereum. In 2021, he founded the Hoskinson Center for Formal Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University.
