A LongHorn Steakhouse is receiving new scrutiny after videos appearing to show roaches and food waste inside the restaurant’s kitchen have been spreading across social media.

The videos were allegedly recorded at the Camp Creek Parkway location in East Point, Georgia, where an employee said he documented conditions after repeatedly raising concerns with managers and the company’s corporate offices, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.

Sean Headley, who began working at the restaurant in April, told the outlet he decided to record the videos because he believed the kitchen had become unsafe.

“Really, it was the work environment and the conditions that we were working in,” Headley told FOX 5 Atlanta. “There were a lot of inhumane conditions.”

The videos he took appear to show cockroaches crawling across the kitchen floor and scattered throughout the workspace, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

Headley eventually shared his after feeling his concerns had gone unanswered, he told the outlet.

LongHorn Steakhouse responded to the videos in a statement provided to FOX 5 Atlanta.

“The conditions shown are unacceptable and have been addressed,” the company said.

“We continue to take the necessary steps to ensure a safe experience for our guests and team members and recently placed a new leader in the restaurant to ensure our strict standards are maintained.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the restaurant for comment as well.

Headley told the outlet he hopes the incident leads to broader changes beyond a single restaurant.

He said he would like to see more frequent at restaurants owned by Darden Restaurants, as well as improvements in workplace conditions, including repairs to broken air conditioning systems.

Fulton County health officials are planning to revisit the restaurant following the viral videos, WSB-TV in Atlanta reported.

The Georgia Department of Public Health last inspected the East Point restaurant on Aug. 25, issuing it a score of 90, or an “A.” Inspection records from the past two years showed scores ranging from 88 to 91, the outlet reported.

The videos showing the bugs and food waste sparked discussion online, with many users slamming the reported kitchen conditions.

“That is beyond unacceptable,” said one user on a Reddit thread.

Another commenter said restaurant workers should report sanitation concerns instead of ignoring them.

“We are responsible for not poisoning people, and some of you need to take that job more seriously,” one user wrote.

Others questioned how the restaurant had previously received passing health inspections.
