MIAMI, FL — September 3, 2026 — The U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce announces that sisters Karen, Daniela and Stephanie Carvajalino, founders of The Biz Nation, will be recognized during the Chamber’s 27th Anniversary Leadership Gala of the Americas 2026, taking place this Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel.

The three entrepreneurs will receive the special distinction:

The private, invitation-only ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will bring together distinguished business executives, entrepreneurs, international delegates, community leaders and representatives from the public and private sectors.

For the Chamber, the Carvajalino sisters represent an emerging generation of Hispanic women who understand that entrepreneurship is not simply about building a company—it can also become a powerful instrument for education, economic mobility and human development.

“We have followed the extraordinary reach of these three sisters and the tools they have created for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Honor must be given where honor is deserved. Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present three sisters united by a common purpose—strong, determined women who have built together and who share a genuine desire to help others reach the next level,” said Doug Mayorga, President and CEO of the U.S. Minority Chamber of Commerce.

THREE SISTERS. ONE VISION. A NEW GENERATION.

The Biz Nation is an EdTech social enterprise founded in 2015 by Colombian sisters Karen, Daniela and Stephanie Carvajalino, with a mission centered on providing practical education and entrepreneurial tools to young people, small businesses and underserved communities.

Their story reflects something the Chamber considers fundamental to the future of the Americas: knowledge becomes more powerful when it is transformed into opportunity for others.

The September 4 recognition will celebrate not only what the three sisters have built together, but also what they represent: Hispanic women creating, educating, innovating and opening doors for a new generation of entrepreneurs.
